It’s the time of year you’ve been waiting for – Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, they’ve all gone by and you’re ready to figure out the best way to get fit in 2012. At Pura Vida Urban Fitness we have a few ideas about the matter and we want to share them with you so that your fitness in 2012 (and beyond) can be at its peak.
1. Get started – always waiting for tomorrow isn’t the way to start a fitness routine. Get started and do it TODAY. You do want to make time to establish your baseline fitness level before you get to far into your transformation, but if this is holding you back, it’s better to get started and work a fitness test into your schedule later on.
2. Find support – there is a group for every activity or nutrition program you could ever wish to pursue. If you don’t want to follow a specific program, consider finding a
class that you can go to routinely.
3. Don’t forget nutrition – your body literally takes the food you eat and turns it into fuel. Get excited about what you’re doing and make the effort to provide yourself with high quality fuel.
